The More Healthy Snack.
Big thanks to Symmintons for sending me the above, sadly, right now you will be hard pressed to find these, more healthy snacks in shops, however, the product is undergoing a relaunch and should be back in circulation before we know it, keep an eye out for them, you can also get them in Salt and Vinegar and Cheese & Onion, the relaunch will see them move from round tins to normal bags, at around just 400 kcals per tin and under 10g fat , they blow away the competition , manly because they are FULL of flavor.
Training Update.
First off, Thanks to Jason & John for the donations, without you guys we would be sat on a big far zero.
Training is going well, I have done almost 100 miles this last week, despite only working 3 days and have a top 5 strava segment on a road I have never road before (but will again, in hope of get the time down)
My average isnt at the MINIMUM required 18 Mph for the Great Manchester Cycle YET but as I say, it has only been a few days, I hope to ramp up the training this week, donations are GRATEFULLY received for The Christie
Just Giving
As I am just a few weeks out of MAJOR Surgery , I end each ride with a Banana Protein shake, something I never thought I could do, just a few weeks ago.
This post was brought to you by
A new feature, that I want to expand on, we will start with this week and its:
“Meat Loaf – Alive”
This was something I played the night before surgery and was the first song I had on , on the first ride after surgery, get’s a lump every time, each week the song will reflect the nature of the update, hope it makes sense & I’m happy to take suggestions too.
Please Please Give As Much As You Can

Happy to see that you are feeling better. I suppose I am not the first one to caution you about overtraining after surgery. But at this point in your life–especially after all you have accomplished, you probably know how to listen to your body. Take care!
It’s a challenging balance for sure
Was that strava segment aimed at me……. CUUUUUNNNNNN777777!
Lol crim
Sorry, I can’t help but notice that you always seem to be holding the cell phone/IPHONE/camera that takes your picture. The vast majority of these devices have timers on them that, once activated, allows the user to set the picture-taking device down and get into a non-arm-sticking-out pose before the picture is taken. You might want to spend the five minutes or so that’s necessary to learn how to do this. One other bit of unsolicited/unwanted advice is to always avoid taking pictures with the loo in the background, it really degrades the shot! Cheers!
